Senior Portrait Photography documents a very special time in a young person’s life when they are just on the cusp of becoming an adult and starting their journey in discovering who they are. I frequently get asked a lot of questions about what the process entails. Many times, this is the first time a student has had a really beautiful portrait made. I understand that Senior Portraits can be an investment. With that in mind, I always want to highlight individual personalities while also creating a work of art that you will proudly be able to display in your home for years to come. What type of payments do you accept?
I am happy to accept Paypal, Venmo, personal check, or cash.
Can I bring a friend with me?
Absolutely! This is very common. Friends can help you feel less nervous and even make you laugh!
What should I bring with me to the shoot?
When asked this question, I always tell clients to really think about the last 4 years. What stands out to you the most? Think about the things you loved most about your time in high school/college. Where did you spend your free time? Did you belong to any clubs or after school programs, sororities/fraternities, extracurricular programs? Let these questions help you decide on your choice of outfits/props to bring to the shoot. Some of the most common things to bring include: letterman jackets, awards, cap/gown, best friends, sorority/fraternity props, class rings, etc.
Remember the point of Senior Portraits is to immortalize your youth and make you remember everything you loved about being this age. <3
Where are shooting good locations in HTX?
My favorite question! I like to tailor my photos to how unique the client is. So think about the things you loved most about your time in high school.. where did you spend your free time, did you belong to any clubs or after school programs, extracurricular programs etc, and let that help you decide on your choice shooting locations.

What time frames are best for shooting?
I generally suggest a morning or evening block of time. Choosing something near sunrise/sunset are the best times for prime lighting conditions.
What happens if it rains the day of my shoot?
Honestly, sometimes rain can be beautiful! I leave this decision up to my clients. If you still want to continue with the shoot then I am game! Otherwise, I am happy to reschedule with you.
